A year and a half ago, Yxng Bane gifted his fans with the mixtape Quarantime: The Lost Files, which featured fourteen unique tracks alongside contributions from artists like G Frsh, Headie One, K-Trap, Kojo Funds and more. In the ensuing years, he’s released loose singles like KSI’s “Really Love,” M Huncho could be seen on Wes Nelson’s “Nice To Meet Ya” and D-Block Europe with “Cut Me Off” and Nafe Smallz with “Dancing On Ice”.
“Birthday,” a collaboration between Bane and Stefflon Don and produced by Rymez, was released last week. The song shows the artists speaking about going all out for the special day of their significant others, as the title suggests, “Birthday”.
With fly champagne, balloons, gifts, and other aspects of a life anniversary, the accompanying clip for “Birthday” was directed by Kevin Hudson. Several women are having a great time in one location, while Stefflon Don and Bane show off their chemistry in another.
Since she was inducted into XXL’s Freshman class and released her Quality Control debut Secure, Stefflon Don has appeared to have taken a step back from music. She has also collaborated with the likes of Kash Doll, Lil Baby, Wiley, and more, and her most recent singles, “Can’t Let You Go,” and “Move” hint at an album coming next year.
