“Don’t Do It” is the newest track from LVRN’s very own OMB Bloodbath. PT the Underboss and DJ Chose have used her to contribute to “Own Thang” and “As Real As It Gets” by WildBoiJames. Jon Primo and Edgar Esteves directed a visual for “Don’t Do It” that honors her roots, also released recently. The tactic that she uses while riding the triumphant beat on the Houston streets is repetition:
As Bloodbath performs in the video in front of another mural that recalls the artist’s late mentor, George Floyd, the video also honors his legacy. Her previous editorial for Billboard acknowledged Floyd’s influence on her, even though it was bittersweet. “He radiated good energy. She recalled that at the time of his death, people imagined him to be a hardened gangsta. But, in actuality, he was the exact opposite. You’ll often hear him referred to as the gentle giant because of this. The man had a heart of gold.”
A show-stopping cypher that the OMB Bloodbath team did with LVRN took place in May. An accompanying visual accompanied each cypher 6LACK, Westside Boogie, BRS Kash, OMB Bloodbath, and NoonieVs Everyone comes together to reclaim their property. Label followed up with the “Just Say That” single shortly thereafter.
