It was well worth the wait when Gallant’s new EP came out earlier this year. In addition to the eight new tracks found on the Neptune EP, the EP also features guest appearances from Arin Ray, VanJess, and the legendary Brandy. As we move towards the end of the week (July 28), Gallant debuts a new visual from the project, the official visual for Brandy-assisted “Dynamite”. Throughout the video, Gallant is seen in a reflective state on a rooftop before Brandy joins him and they watch the city below go up in flames while Gallant sings the hook:
Before the full album was released, Gallant shared the video for his new track, “Comeback,” which tapped into some nostalgic influences. Gallant made his debut with the album Ology back in 2016. Grammy nominated album debuted in top 25 of the Billboard Top 200 before receiving a Grammy nomination. A year ago, he released Sweet Insomnia, a project featuring 13 tracks and features from 6lack and Sabrina Claudio. The Main Squeeze and Ella Isaacson worked together on “Expectations” and “This World”, respectively, last year.
She began her career when she released her self-titled debut album in 1994, establishing herself as a legend of R&B. She recently released her seventh studio album called B7, which featured the hit single “Baby Mama” with Chance The Rapper. In addition to Daniel Caesar’s “Love Again,” the album received a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance.
