In December, the sixth studio LP of Lil Durk wad released, called The Voice. It featured 15 cuts and features from Booka600, YNW Melly, Young Thug, 6LACK, and the late King Von, who is the person that the project seems to be paying tribute to. Similar to previous efforts, The Voice was very successful and entered the top 50 category on the Billboard 200 in just one day, eventually reaching the number 3 position, which is attributed to the selling of 66,000 album equivalent units in just the second week. The next month, Durk made sure to maintain that momentum by releasing a deluxe edition of The Voice, featuring 12 new cuts, making sure that the project ended up at number two.
Now, Durk decides to work on The Voice (Deluxe) firther, by releasing a new video for “Should’ve Ducked,” which wasa combined effort of Prod. By Mo, NOM, DJ FMCT, and DJ Bandz, wherein he enjoys some time with Pooh Shiesty. Needless to say, both the artists can be seen rapping about the streets.
The video is directed by Jerry Production, and revolves around stomping grounds of Shiesty’s Cane Creek, which is a substantial shift from Durk’s O Block neighborhood shown in “Back In Blood” video. The video is filled with jewelry, money, and debaucheries.
