Earlier this year, Lor Sosa released the 17-track EP Borrowed Time, which included additional accompaniment from Tate Kobang, Prez Luciano, Alex Fraze, and more. Additionally, the supportive singles “Lor Bish,” “What It Was” and “Blink,” helped the project succeed. The Baltimore rapper continued to build his momentum with his new visual for “Live Die N Get Paid” last month, which features Kayos, Blueface, and Alé. Being inspired by 2Pac’s The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory classic “To Live and Die in L.A.,” The following statements from Sosa about his tough upbringing can be heard:
This video clip for our collaboration “Live Die N Get Paid” shows collaborators performing on a rooftop in the City of Angels, along with some beautiful women in a graffiti-strewn room full of lowriders, directed by Louie Knows. Even though he is far from home, Lor Sosa wears a Baltimore Orioles jersey throughout the clip, making sure to show support for his city.
In addition to expanding his fan base with newer tunes, Blueface has been making music that’s as edgy as it gets “Patience” with Calboy, “BGC” with DDG, and “Outside” with OG Bobby Billions. He released both a Reloaded version of his breakthrough mixtape Famous Cryp and his debut LP Find The Beat last year, both of which featured a host of contributors Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, Polo G, DaBaby, and loads more.
