Sircaliburx, a Philly hip hop artist, has released a dope tune this month, which I was lucky enough to hear yesterday. Crack in the Hat is the single’s title. The track is an explosive juxtaposition of the trap life and the fun nursery rhyme, “The Cat in the Hat”, by Dr. Seuss.
He raps with a gritty, but infectious attitude. Lil Uzi Vert, XXXTENTACION, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Famous Dex are among his influences.
He created a clothing and merchandise line called InTheWave Corp, which offers videography and photography services as well. His label and brand are inspired by the vaporwave genre of music.
In addition to finding a niche in memes, he has acquired over 27K Instagram followers, a smart move considering it allows him to increase his social media footprint.
Keeping yourself true to yourself even if nobody else believes in you is his advice for up-and-coming rappers.
