The third installment of Sneakbo’s Jetski Wave mixtape series premiered last month, featuring 16 tracks as well as other guests including Ard Adz, BackRoad Gee, Pa Salieu, M24, and LUCIIA. He released a new video from that project this week, “Ghetto Gospel,” an emotionally charged collaboration with Moelogo in which he raps about the hardships he deals with in his hometown, specifically in relation to two close friends who chose different paths:
The cinematic clip is directed by Smila and tells Sneakbo’s story beginning with the robbery. Following that, we see what happens to one of the mates, who becomes jealous over his partner’s success, before deciding to murder him. He even shows up at his victim’s funeral. It is evident by the end of the video that he was not truly able to escape from such a horrific crime, since he has become the target for those looking for revenge.
“Ghetto Gospel” follows earlier Jetski Wave 3 visuals for songs like “Wag1,” “Changes,” “Practice (Jetski),” and “Came A Long Way.” Additionally to his own releases, Sneakbo can be seen and heard on Don’t Jealous Me’s “Vibes n TunUp,” as well as “A Town Krazy” alongside Jboy and Stickz.
