‘Let Me In’, Just Dave‘s latest single, is an emotionally charged, hopeful and passionate track. This track follows the themes of love, heartbreak and torment on the basis of gorgeous and buttery female vocals, as well as a nostalgia-inducing hook.
The rapper raps about the need for resiliency when you are ready to quit, using his own struggle to illustrate his point. Just Dave’s latest track, ‘Let Me In’, is unapologetic, expressive, and reminiscent of Nipsey Hussle and Kendrick Lamar. ‘Let Me In’ will release its official video on July 30th!
Just Dave has gone on to big things since releasing his debut album ‘Sleep Is Overrated’ in 2017. He still keeps a full-time job, has a wife and three kids, and works 12 hours a day. Music and the hip-hop movement of the 70s captured his heart – from the dancing, to the music, to everything encompassing the genre.
Because of the themes he explores, such as everyday life and relationships, his music is extremely emotional and relatable. In the end, he wants to bring healing to souls, reconcile relationships, and provide hope for those who have lost hope.
