The new song “Marie” has been released by Sleepy Hallow

As we all know, Sleepy Hallow made his comeback in September with his emotional track and video, “2 Minutes of Pain.” He followed up that offering today (Nov. 2) by recording “Marie,” a song that was produced by Great John and tells the story of a woman that the song is named after. As part of the accompanying release of the single, Tristan Zammit directed and animated a video that shows the song’s video being accompanied by the song. In his song, “Die Young,” the rapper shows off his poetic flow as well as his calm, soothing tone:

In June of last year, Hallow released what is still one of his most recent full-length albums, Still Sleep?, in which he featured Sheff G as the only artist with a track on the album. As a follow-up to that, he released its official deluxe version, which includes 11 new songs, all of which have been produced by Skillibeng, Casper Magico, Chucky73, Eli Fross, and Coi Leray.

The rapper is known for releasing compilations, such as Wake Up Presents: Sleepy For President, which contained 12 drill cuts with help from some of the biggest names in the industry Jay Critch, Fousheé, Fivio Foreign, and Sheff G. On top of his own releases, Hallow has also been featured on a few collaborative tracks this year, including “Like Me” made with Sheff G, “Bad Days” created with Eli Fross, and “No Love” created with Fredo Bang.
