Beenie Man has been absent from the music scene for six years since Unstoppable. This album featured 22 tracks and contributions including Sizzla, Christopher Martin, Verse Simmonds, Bounty Killer, Tarrus Riley, Akon, Yellow Claw, and more. It’s not to say that the Jamaican legend hasn’t been busy in 2022, as he has already delivered massive cuts like “Clean Like A Whistle,” “Ehh Yah Ohh,” “Love Your Mother,” and “Vagina.”
Beenie Man debuted another single over the weekend called “Blessings Pon Blessings,” a Talk Of The Town Music and MD Music Group single where Beenie thanked his many blessings in life:
The accompanying clip to “Blessings Pon Blessings” comes from Cinema Gods and begins with a breathtaking scene of Beenie Man standing next to a waterfall. As the video continues, we see him spend time with family and friends, have a great time eating, sing with a small choir, and much more.
Announcing he will be returning to American stages in the near future, Beenie Man has been actively seeking a return to the stage. The veteran artist filed his visa petition for the first time this year and is confident that his application will be approved:
The visa should not have been lost in the first place. I don’t know why the decision was made, but America is America. If dem decide you cannot go, there isn’t much you can do. We would appreciate it if the US Embassy is of the opinion that we deserve it back.”
