There was a new video unveiled on Thursday (16 February) by D-Block Europe for “Barbie.” A melodic offering that talks about the group’s luxurious lifestyle, the song is an infectious offering full of melodic bars.
As shown in the accompanying video clip, which was provided by William Thomas, Young Adz is present on an outing with one of his love interests before he disappears with another while driving a pink Lamborghini truck. As Dirtbike LB showcases a blue version of the same SUV during a Spanish excursion, interspersed throughout the video are shots of kids riding around in toy versions of these same vehicles as well as shots of the kids riding around in their real life counterparts.
It was in September of 2022 that D-Block Europe released their sophomore album, Lap 5, a 16-track effort that featured contributions from Ed Sheeran and Ghost Killer Track. As a prelude to their Home Alone mixtape series, the duo released the second installment in 2021, which featured M Huncho, AJ Tracey, Wretch 32, Tiny Boost, Offset, Central Cee, Jordan Morris, Tion Wayne, in addition to frequent DBE collaborator Lil Pino. A more recent collaboration saw them team up with the rising star Clavish for the powerful hit “Rocket Science,” which peaked at No. 9 on the U.K. charts of the Official Singles that year, one of the most well received songs of the year was “Tears In My Amiri’s.”
