Taking part in the action, Tony Yayo has made a return to the scene. There is a new mixtape that will be released by the G-Unit music group alum at some point this month, titled The Loyal. It was announced on Thursday (Feb. 3) that the recording will be released this month. As well as the hard-hitting title track on the album, Tony Yayo has also released another single entitled “Clown You When You’re Down,” a track produced by YBeama and carrying the trademark nonfiction street raps synonymous with the veteran NYC MC that have become synonymous with him, including the following lyrics:
“Clown You When You’re Down” is accompanied by a video clip that was directed by Shawn Thomas showing Yayo enjoying a day out in the snow with a friend. The video shows him delivering his rhymes on a snowmobile with his crew as they ride about while delivering his rhymes.
Featuring a video directed by Shawn Thomas, the clip for the song “Clown You When You’re Down” features Yayo enjoying a day out in the snow, surrounded by the cheers of her fans. Throughout the video, the rapper can be seen on snowmobiles with his crew, delivering his rhymes while riding on them.
As a result, it has been almost twenty years since Tony Yayo released his debut LP, Thoughts of a Predicate Felon, an album that consists of 17 tracks, a collection of contributions from artists such as Eminem, Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, Kokane, Joe, Olivia, and more. During the following years, the “So Seductive” rapper kept his fans satisfied with numerous mixtapes, loose cuts, and guest appearances over the course of a lengthy career, before suddenly taking a break from music recording. A sequel to his last outing, El Chapo 3: The Great Escape, received a lot of acclaim in 2016.
