Having made his official return to music in March, Davido released Timeless, a 17-track album featuring Logos Olori, Asake, Skepta, Morravey, Dexta Daps, and more. It was yesterday (April 11) that the Nigerian superstar released the official video for the album’s lead single, “UNAVAILABLE.” The clip was directed by Davido’s longtime collaborator Dammy Twitch, and it shows Davido dancing out in nature while his positive lyrics play:
“In addition to fashion and trends, Timeless is a collection of work that goes beyond fashion,” he stated in a press release regarding the album. “My music is designed to bring joy to my fans throughout the world, and this is an authentic collection that remains true to my core as an artist. There will be no difference in the relevance of the songs you hear today tomorrow. This is the reason why it is timeless.”
During the year 2022, Davido released many notable songs, including “Electricity” featuring Pheelz, “WATAWI” produced by CKay, as well as an appearance on the official FIFA World Cup soundtrack, “Hayya Hayya (Better Together).” In addition, it has been reported that the “Shopping Spree” performer recently played two sold-out concerts earlier this month, with the first performed at Irving Plaza in New York subsequently at Koko in London. In addition to the third and final event on April 23, a third and final event will take place at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
