Over the summer, Toosii has released a series of loose tracks, including “Love Me Easy,” “Secrets,” “Keeper,” and “Love Is…” With “Lonely,” produced by Glone and Bankroll Got It, he resurfaces. He can be heard harmonizing about being away from his special someone while on the road in the song, as his title suggests.
It includes a matching video showing Toosii alone in a mansion somewhere in the hills, performing “Lonely.” With the Syracuse star performing his lines in various locations within the aforementioned residence, the rest of the clip is kept simple and focused on the music.
The year 2021 was an especially productive one for Toosii, to put it mildly. The project was launched with the release of the mixtape Thank You for Believing, a collection of 13 songs that features collaborations with several artists, such as Key Glock, Latto, and DaBaby. It would be a short time before he joined peers like Morray, Coi Leray, 42 Dugg, Blxst, and Pooh Shiesty. Their class would be the XXL Freshman class of that year. As a means of maintaining his momentum, Toosii released a deluxe edition of Thank You for Believing under the title The Manifestation in order to keep things moving forward. There were 10 additional cuts on that project with Fivio Foreign and Hotboii providing assistance. Fans were treated to an EP by the rapper of “Love Cycle,” entitled Pretty Girls Love Toosii, before this year ended.
