There have been a number of loose drops from Fabolous within the last two weeks, which have been well received by fans. As a first step, he did a freestyle over Amerie “1 Thing” song, followed by the release of the music video for “Say Less” by French Montana. A new single from Fab featuring Jim Jones was unveiled over the weekend along with an accompanying visual that would make every New Yorker proud.
To kick off the evening in Harlem, the new clip for “Rich Hustle” begins with a champagne car wash. Later, Fabolous and Jones gather at Dyckman Park to support a basketball tournament. A signature flow from Fab is heard throughout the clip as he delivers the following lines:
As well as his own releases, Fabolous has been involved with a number of dope collaborations over the past year. A few of these include “Spirit of Ecstasy (Whole-Lotta)” by French Montana and Red Cafe, “Down Bad” featuring Hitmaka, Jeremih, and Ivory Scott, and “Uncle Elroy” featuring Arin Ray and Steelo. A full-length project that he completed in 2019 was Summertime Shootout 3: Coldest Summer Ever, which is the third installment in his fan-favorite series that he began in 2015. There are appearances on that album from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Meek Mill, Jacquees, Davido, Jeremih, and others.
It was announced in May that Jim Jones and Maino would be collaborating on a long-awaited project, The Lobby Boyz, which featured contributions fromFivio Foreign, Benny The Butcher, Bleu, Fabolous, Young M.A, Capella Grey, Dave East, and others.
