We’ve got a whole bunch of new music on Friday, isn’t it? Fortunately, we’re blessed with a plethora of music each week! It doesn’t necessarily have to be overwhelming, of course. In the current industry, Megan Thee Stallion represents a breath of fresh air, and her ascent to stardom is nothing short of amazing. The poise and hunger she brought to the scene paved the way for Meg to be where she is today, and she has no intention of slowing down. Hottie CEOs always drop new music when they release brand-new albums. She drops her highly anticipated sophomore album Traumazine today (Aug 12), as is the case every day for the “Pressurelicious” rapper.
A recent tweet from Meg’s former label head sparked some controversy, as she stated that the Houston artist was using “label problems” as a marketing strategy to promote her last album with 1501 Certified Ent. As a follow up to the tweet, Meg issued a series of tweets addressing the claim. Her statement indicates that 1501’s CEO, Carl, is just upset that he cannot make any more money from using her name. Suddenly, you’re talking about how I’ll help you promote, despite the fact that you’ve had the money to do so for quite some time. “How will an inappropriate Instagram story benefit me?” she inquired.
A total of 18 records are featured on Traumazine, including Latto, Future, Key Glock, Rico Nasty, Pooh Shiesty, and more! It’s finally time for Megan Thee Stallion to move on from her past, but her new album Traumazine is released just in time for the end of summer time.
