Anoyd is certainly on a roll at the moment. The Connecticut rapper has already released top-notch singles in the new year, including “Happyness,” and “Dolphin,” “Bam Bam Bigelow,” “Money In The Bank” with Braggin Rights. ANoyd continued the campaign this month with the track “The Rock,” a JP On Da Track production that finds ANoyd delivering some of his most aggressive bars thus far:
In addition to the song, “The Rock” also comes with a visual, provided by Katt Burgundy, which shows ANoyd catching vibes with his crew and rapping in the woods amid the song’s energy. The film also recreates a classic Hustle & Flow scene in which ANoyd rocks a hairstyle similar to that of Terrence Howard’s DJay character.
In a press release, ANoyd further elaborated on how the song was created:
Although ANoyd has been keeping the fans busy with follow-ups to the hit single “The Rock,” he has already provided them with two more tracks in the intervening time. On the eve of May, he dropped a freestyle over Tory Lanez DAYSTAR single “Most High,” which was accompanied by a video. This month, he released another single called “Don’t Deserve Me,” a Richbreed-backed ode to women who are not worthy of being with him.
