A remix of The Weeknd’s “Starry Eyes” has been released by Mike Dean

This past January, The Weeknd made his highly anticipated debut with a new album, Dawn FM. A brand new remix of “Starry Eyes“, one of the project’s most captivating tracks, has been revealed by legendary producer Mike Dean today (July 5). This remix highlights both The Weeknd and Dean’s skills, with the synthy tracks complementing Abel’s vocals:

According to reports, Doja Cat recently stepped down from The Weeknd’s upcoming “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” in order to focus on her recovery following tonsil surgery. It was announced a short time later that she would be replaced by a new opening act. In addition to the Weeknd, fans can now look forward to performances from Snoh Aalegra, Kaytranada, and Mike Dean on selected stops along the 19-date journey. This Friday (July 8) is the first date of the tour in his hometown of Toronto, California.

“Thank you for letting me perform a solo synth set with my brother @theweeknd on tour,” Dean wrote underneath the poster.
