The five-song EP PRE5L by Key Glock was released last month as a tribute to Young Dolph. The EP was produced by JohnnyTurnItUp, Tay Keith, Blazerfxme, and BandPlay. Among the standouts from the release was Hitkidd, CuBeatz, and Tizzle-backed “Forgive Me,” a record that sees Memphis rapper Key Glock rapping about a variety of topics including faith, wealth, and much more.
In a new visual Key Glock released yesterday (Dec. 12), the singer unveiled a new clip for the song “Forgive Me.” In the short clip, Glock appears as a nun in a church accompanied by a preacher and his congregation watching him in the clip. Then, he sits in a room near two other young women.
There was a lot of hype around key glock’s re-release of Yellow Tape back in 2021, an album that consisted of 20 songs with zero features. Despite its critical and commercial success, this was one of the most successful projects of 2011 with an estimated 36,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week after it was released, making it the No. 7 albums on the Billboard 200 chart. It was just a few months ago that Glock released a deluxe edition of Yellow Tape 2 featuring 10 new tracks in addition to the original album.
