Blxst unveils a new video for “Ghetto Cinderella”

The EP Just For Clarity 2 was released by Blxst this past Friday (March 10). The EP features four tracks as well as contributions from Mustard, Roddy Ricch, Larry June, and Terrace Martin, both of whom contributed to EP’s opener, “Ghetto Cinderella.”

Earlier this week (March 15), fans were treated to a trailer for XXL Freshman alum Damian Marley’s new single “Ghetto Cinderella,” a track that features an infectious hook that sees the XXL Freshman alum pursuing a relationship with a potential romantic interest.

In the accompanying video, Patrick “Blu” Haynes and Mayowa positioned a camera on Blxst, with the first shot showing Blxst inside an establishment, where he strikes up a conversation with a worker. Eventually, love blossoms between the two, with the couple spending some quality time together during a beautiful California day, where they enjoy each other’s company. In an interesting twist, the show then travels back in time to when Blxst and his significant other were involved in a diamond heist, with a newspaper revealing that they have been turned into fugitives. In the video, neither Mustard nor Martin can be seen making an appearance, which is a pity.

In the year 2022, Blxst released his official debut album, Before You Go, which boasted 13 tracks as well as contributions from the likes of Zacari, Grandmaster Vic, Arin Ray, Rick Ross. Jahaan Sweet, J-Mo, Tim Suby, Los Hendrix, Mike & Keys, Sevn Thomas, Rogét Chahayed, as well as many others, contributed to the production of the album.
