In recent weeks, Headie One has returned with his new track “Came In The Scene,” featuring production from Emzbeats and M1OnTheBeat, filled with the kind of classic, urban drill bars that have made him one of the country’s most recognizable artists:
A video accompanying Headie One’s song “Came In The Scene” was produced by DON Prod, and it takes us back to his former stomping grounds at Broadwater Farm, where the rapper is seen mobbing heavily with his crew in a high-end parking lot. He and his team also share meals together in what appears to be an upscale restaurant.
Too Loyal for My Own Good was Headie One’s most recent project, released last October. It included 13 tracks and zero features. In preparation for the release of Edna, he released his official debut EP, which featured contributions from AJ Tracey, Drake, Young T & Bugsey, M Huncho, Skepta, Stormzy, Aitch, Future, Mahalia, and more. There would soon be a deluxe version of Edna available with eight additional tracks, along with collaborations with RV, Rich The Kid, Burna Boy, and NorthSideBenji. All-in-all, Edna was his most successful album to date, reaching number one on the UK Albums chart and being certified silver.
