It is anticipated that Freddie Gibbs will release a new album on September 30 entitled $oul $old $eparately album. A preview of his upcoming release was provided to the public at the beginning of this month with the release of his “Too Much” single, which featured an assist from Moneybagg Yo. This morning (Sept. 23), the Indiana-bred rapper returned with his latest song, “Dark Hearted.” The Paul Gibbs-produced track features some of the rapper’s most introspective bars:
Each of the 14 tracks will be released separately, and there will be a bonus track as well. A number of guest appearances are featured on this album, including those by Rick Ross, Pusha T, Offset, Raekwon, DJ Paul, and Scarface. Furthermore, Gibbs ensured R&B would be well-represented on the project, calling upon Musiq Soulchild, Kelly Price, and Anderson .Paak to provide assistance as well.
In addition to his solo career, Gibbs has also made his mark on the big screen within the past year, starring in the award-winning film Down with the King. Aside from that, he also appeared in TV shows such as Peacock’s “Bust Down” and 50 Cent’s “Power Book IV: Force.”
