The legendary DJ and producer Marshmello collaborated with Brent Faiyaz on the new track “Fell In Love.” With additional assistance from Chrome Sparks, “Fell In Love” is about Faiyaz’s apathy over a love interest who demands commitment.
Christian Breslauer’s song “Fell In Love” has been accompanied by a video which you can watch below. Watch as Marshmello shows up briefly during the show to make a quick cameo appearance before viewers are able to witness Faiyaz driving a number of women to a wooded area so that they can engage in sexual intimacy with each other.
In the last couple of years I haven’t heard a song from Marshmello since the release of his fourth studio LP, Shockwave, which contained songs from DJ Sliink, Juicy J, Carnage (now known as Gordo), Megan Thee Stallion, and more. The masked talent has maintained his momentum ever since thanks to a string of loose cuts he has released, including “ESTILAZO” featuring Tokischa, “Numb” featuring Khalid, and “Grown Man” featuring Southside and Polo G. In addition, he has also handled the boards for other artists including Oliver Tree, 24kGoldn, Young K.I., Alesso, LIL DUSTY G, Rico Nasty, and Juice WRLD.
During the same time frame, Faiyaz released his second album, WASTELAND, in early 2022, which featured collaborations with The Neptunes, Drake, Alicia Keys, and Tyler, The Creator. On the Billboard 200, the 19-song album peaked at No. 2 and earned the label a gold certification for its achievement.
