Earlier this week (May 11), Chase B released his new track, Ring Ring, which features Don Toliver, Travis Scott, Quavo, and Ty Dolla $ign. Chase B and BRYVN produced the album, in which the collaborators rapped about the women in their lives.
“Ring Ring” is Chase B’s latest release, following a number of notable releases over the past few years, which include “For Me” featuring KenTheMan and OMB Bloodbath, “MAYDAY” featuring Young Thug and Sheck Wes, and “Cafeteria” with Toliver. As mentioned, the aforementioned drops will be included in the forthcoming album Be Very Afraid.
It is well known that Chase B is Scott’s official DJ and has handled the decks for rappers on top of the charts as well as wealthy socialites on top of the list for some time. He told Coveteur in an interview how he began mastering his craft in the first place, and how he began to achieve his goal.
“ When I was on campus, I had a radio show and all those things,” he revealed. “Back then, I was emceeing parties and emceeing events right next to the DJ at the club next to me. The fact that I was constantly around DJs meant that I started picking up on different things, things such as the timing of different things, and then I just thought that it would probably be easier if I did both myself rather than relying on the DJ.”
