There are few people who know how to make an ex-lover jealous as well as Kiana Ledé. “Jealous” is the name of her latest single, which is a new release outfitted with an appearance from Ella Mai, and it represents exactly what the title implies. On Wednesday (April 11), the singer from Arizona returned with a solo version of the track that was released on YouTube. Her offering, “Kiki’s Cut”, is titled after a certain special person whom she feels protective over on the song:
A few years ago, Kiana Ledé made her first official appearance with KIKI, which was in 2020. There were numerous guest appearances on that project, including Moneybagg Yo, Ari Lennox, 6lack, Lucky Daye, Arin Ray, BIA, and Col3trane across 17 songs. In addition to that, she provided a deluxe version of the album that added seven additional songs along with special guest appearances by Gary Clark Jr., Jacquees, and Ant Clemons.

In order to trust your gut, you have to trust yourself. I mean, now that I have completed all the work that I have to do, I can really say that I would never want to fall on the sword of anybody else in the future. As much as I would like to fall on my own, I would rather fall alone. Consequently, I should be able to form my own opinion and make my own decisions based on that opinion. Self-validation is important. She said to herself, “Trust yourself, it will work out for you.”
