Several months ago, Ne-Yo released a deluxe edition of In My Own Words in commemoration of its 15th anniversary. As a follow-up, he released the singles “Stay Down,” and “What If” which feature Yung Bleu.
There were several bonus tracks included in In My Own Words (Deluxe), including previously retail exclusive tracks like “Stay (Remix),” “Girlfriend” that featured Rick Ross recorded specifically for the Japanese release, as well as two live acoustic renditions of “So Sick” and “Sexy Love” as well as two instrumental tracks (“So Sick” and “When You’re Mad”). A few days prior to this, Ne-Yo released his “U 2 Luv” song and followed it up with the remix featuring Queen Naija and Lil Durk immediately after.
