Lil Uzi Vert announced last week that his long-awaited album THE P!NK TAPE would precede an EP called Red & White. Further, the Philadelphia rhymer released two tracks from the project, “SPACE CADET,” a collaboration between Brandon Finessin, Bally, and ShaunGoBrazy, and the Sonny Digital-backed “I KNOW.” The track is replete with boastful bars relating to money and women, “I KNOW” having an infectious hook that will surely reverberate at festivals and concerts alike:
It was Uzi’s year in 2020. To begin with, the band released their sophomore studio LP Eternal Atake in March, which included 18 songs with one assist from Syd. In addition to the mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World, Uzi released a 14-track bonus LP for Eternal Atake a week after the first release. As part of the upgrade, we also had collaborations with 21 Savage, Young Thug, Chief Keef, Future, and Gunna. Uzi and Future then surprised fans with Pluto x Baby Pluto a few months later before fans had a chance to breathe.
In the years since, Uzi has maintained his status as one of the hottest rap artists out there, providing his distinctive style of rap to Isaiah Rashad, The Creator, Meek Mill, Juice WRLD, Tyler, Doe Boy, Justin Bieber, and more. It was back in October when they released “Demon High,” which is presumed to be the lead single from P!NK TAPE.
