The legendary Kodak Black has returned to the scene with some new heat for his fans to enjoy. It was earlier today on May 26 that EST Gee released his fifth studio LP, Pistolz & Pearlz, which is filled with 21 tracks, as well as appearances from yko Bob, Wam SpinThaBin, EST Gee, GorditoFlo, SWizDaWizard, Loe Shimmy, and many more. This album was produced by heavyweight beatsmiths including Mike WiLL Made-It, ATL Jacob, Derek “Dyryk” Garcia, Ayo B, Oscar Zulu, and Pooh Beatz who contributed in a major way to the production of this album.
Besides his latest collection of work, Kodak Black released a video for the song “Gunsmoke Town,” where he raps about the hardships of life as a rapper post-fame and his realization that the streets are reality.
There’s a new album titled Pistolz & Pearlz coming out shortly after Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1, which is comprised of 19 tracks and in which several artists appear, including VVSNCE, Lil Crix, NFL Tuewop, and Prince Swanny. A gold certification was won by Kodak for his success on that project, which topped the Billboard 200 at No. 2 and helped him return to commercial success. Thereafter, the Florida star released an album called Back For Everything, which contained the runaway hit song “Super Gremlin” as well as the Lil Durk-assisted single “Take You Back.”
Besides this, Kodak Black is also working on a self-written and directed short film called The Don, a crime drama in which he will star alongside a cast including Clifton Powell, who plays the cop in Next Friday.
