It was back in July of 2022 when Rowdy Rebel released his most recent album, Rebel vs. Rowdy. There were 17 songs in the collection, which included contributions from artists like Dreezy, French Montana, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and more. There has been no shortage of music videos accompanying his tracks since then, including “Simple,” “Woo Nina,” and “Paid Off.” Additionally, he performed with Bobby Shmurda during the “The Bodmon Tour” around the country at the end of last year.
As I am glad to inform you, this past Monday (March 10) I was pleased to find out that Rowdy Rebel, a New York City born emcee, has released a brand new music video featuring his latest single, “We On It” recorded with the legendary DBoyLo. A new clip has been released by the trio of Fuego, Dee Bennett, and G-Train that has been captured by Fuego and Justin D’Orazio, as well as edited by Paul Plath. In this song, Rowdy Rebel provides listeners with an understanding of what street politics is all about:
As I mentioned earlier, The Rebel vs. Rowdy project followed 2016’s The Shmoney Keeps Calling, which featured Too $hort, Kent Jones, Lil Durk, Rich The Kid, Ty Dolla $ign, A$AP Ferg, and Bobby Shmurda. As soon as the “Computers” rapper was released back in 2020, he wasted no time in putting the works together and immediately began to release new music with well-received releases such as “9 Bridge” featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie, “Re-Route” featuring Funkmaster Flex, and “Jesse Owens” featuring NAV.
