A packed house is expected at The Novo on Thursday, March 16 when Westside Boogie will perform his greatest hits in front of what’s sure to be an enthusiastic crowd as he takes the stage to perform in front of a packed house. He thanked his fans for the opportunity to once again hold a court in his hometown, Compton, as part of his Instagram announcement in 2022, in which he posted about the event.
“I am really doing this for the crib,” he said in the beginning. “Last month, I performed my largest show in Los Angeles. This time we’re going to triple it. The two of you have really grown together with me, and none of this would have been possible without your ugly aes. It is time to sell this bch out.”
Getting the masses in the mood, Westside Boogie released an EP entitled Live At The Novo, comprising three tracks produced by Keyel, Dartt, 18yoman, and JUSTICE. In the opening track, “Cold As Love,” listeners are immediately captivated by the emotional resonance created by the bars that refer to broken relationships and missed opportunities.
Earlier this year, Westside Boogie released his sophomore studio album, MORE BLACK SUPERHEROES, which included contributions from Storm Ford, Snoop Dogg, Soulja Boy, Mamii, DRAM, and more. A Limited Edition of the above-mentioned project was released before the end of the year, which included six additional tracks.
