It is expected that Killer Mike will release his sixth studio LP, MICHAEL, on Friday, June 16th, which will include 14 songs and appear on albums from 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, 6LACK, Mozzy, CeeLo Green, and more. A new song from the upcoming album was released today (June 13) titled “SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS,” which is a collaboration between Eryn Allen Kane, Future, as well as André 3000, who begins the song by discussing the importance of time and the variations in life.
As the brand-new album in Killer Mike catalog approaches its release date, he took to Instagram back in May to let people know what they can expect once they hear it. “I have gathered together a cast of some of the best musicians from Atlanta and beyond,” Killer Mike explained. Our collective perspectives will enable you to gain a deeper understanding of what it’s like to grow up as a Black boy in a deeply religious southern area as well as nuances that make up the uniquely beautiful experience of what it’s like. This is specifically on the westside of Atlanta.”
