Travy Nostra released a new single today (Feb. 4) called “Money Mitch,” a Juu2x and Jamil4x production that sees him focusing on pushing through and sending a message to the haters:
A matching video for “Money Mitch,” directed by Reggie Reg and Clockwork Productions, shows Nostra chilling with his crew at different locations around the District of Columbia. Continuing with the song’s theme, viewers can also see him with piles of money all through the clip.
Trav Nostra’s “Money Mitch” follows January’s I Was On Vacation, which featured seven dope tracks, one assist from Joony. Before that, he released his critically acclaimed Leave Me The Fuck Alone EP in November of last year, a 15-track body of work which featured collaborations with Unlvcky Nas, G30, Ahksxma, Peets, Lightshow, Shug Da Trappa, and more. Leave Me The Fuck Alone sees Nostra addressing a more serious subject matter, revealing that he had been experiencing significant challenges.
I was going through a serious depression while I was creating all the music, I was on the verge of suicide honestly, and I was having health issues as well as knowing my heart could stop working at any moment put me in a very dark place where I wanted nothing more than to be alone. The phrase, ‘just leave me alone,’ came to mind in my head and I felt it fit the project perfectly.”
