Jacob Banks, Tobe Nwigwe, and Nas collaborate on “On My Soul”

Rise of the Beasts’ official soundtrack was released on Friday (May 19) with Tobe Nwigwe and as Ncollaborating to create “On My Soul.” It is expected that this will be the first single from the album to be released. This song was produced by The Good Stewards (Tobe Nwigwe Nwigwe, Nick Baker, and Nic Humes), and it is a very booming cut where the group delivers inspiring lines about how to prepare for battle and win the fight.

On June 9, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be released in theaters across the country for fans of action movies and casual fans alike to enjoy. The film will mark the seventh installment in the Transformers franchise where millions of fans have already enjoyed a plethora of movies. Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback will play Elena Wallace and Noah Diaz, respectively, with Tobe Nwigwe and Luna Lauren Vélez providing support.

Nwigwe recently spoke with Sway Calloway (above) about working on the music for Rise of the Beasts, and he opened up a lot about the experience. “It was just a seamless and smooth experience from start to finish,” he said with a smile. “I was given a chance to work on some musical elements of the movie as a result of Steven Caple Jr. [Director]. Therefore, I had the opportunity to be involved in both the production and the rapping on the song as well. Though we have a sound that is more futuristic than most of our previous releases, we were able to bring on top-five-dead-or-alive Nas for a collaboration [on the record].”
