Earlier in the week (Friday, Feb. 10), DaBaby wrapped up the week with a new single titled “YEA COME ON” where he followed up the week’s record-breaking single with another street-oriented single produced by UK24.
“YEA COME ON” comes with a matching visual which shows DaBaby showcasing several outfits and vehicles throughout the performance. In addition, he has thrown in his popular mascot to make it a little more comical. The result is something reminiscent of the rapper’s older clips, many of which were more popular (ex. “BOP” and “Suge”).
As well as the aforementioned song, the CEO of Billion Dollar Baby also threw in an assortment of music from across genres including “THEY JUST WANT YOUR LIFE,” “INDUSTRY (GO DJ),” and “THINK BOUT ME.” Previously, he also collaborated with UK24 for a track called “JOC IN 06′,” which kicked off what is believed to be the launch of a new album campaign. In recent days, he has taken to social media to share yet another dope cut in order to fuel speculationto what he may be working on.
For DaBaby, 2022 was a very important year. The first track he released together with YoungBoy Never Broke Again was BETTER THAN YOU, which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 album chart, as well as No. 7 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It was only in the subsequent months that DaBaby was able to continue his momentum with tracks like “BONNET” featuring Pooh Shiesty, “WIG” featuring Moneybagg Yo, “SHOWING OFF HER BODY” featuring Davido, “WAITRESS,” and “TOUGH SKIN.” The following year, he released Baby On Baby 2, the sequel to his breakout album of 2019.
