A new music video for Serayah’s song “P.O.V.” unleashed just yesterday, offering the first taste of what is sure to be an upcoming project. She has a cameo appearance from her mother and close friends in the accompanying visual directed by M Dot For Mayor, which adds authenticity and vulnerability to the song. Queen contributes a spoken word contribution to the new song, which is produced by OG Parker. As part of the song, Serayah reflects on the profound lessons she has learned:
Serayah says of the song: “‘P.O.V.’ is one of my most personal songs to date, so I thought it would be fitting to release it as the first single for my new project. My perspective explores my development as a young woman throughout the past few years, my life before fame, and the trials and triumphs that have helped me reach my current stage.”
A rising star best known for playing Tiana Brown on FOX’s expansive series “Empire,” she has also excelled in a variety of roles in the space, television, and film industry. Serayah’s focus has been on her career as a music artist for the past three years. One of her early singles was “Driving Me” released in August of 2017 and another was “So Good” released in July of 2018. Her most recent singles include “Miss You” with Blac Youngsta and “Mr. Lover,” both of which are from the year 2020.
