In “Redefined,” Erica Banks showcases her flow

In June of 2022, Erica Banks released Diary of The Flow Queen, a studio album that featured 13 tracks and included features from BeatKing, Bankroll Freddie, and DreamDoll. In the months following its release, she provided fans with videos for songs such as “Nasty” and “Trick.”

As the year progressed on, Erica Banks continued to maintain her momentum through a number of guest verses on tracks including “Poppin’ Them Tags” featuring SMITH, “HDBG Shemix” featuring cupcakKe, and “Squirt” co-produced with Dallas P. During the past year, Erica Banks has received two nominations for the American Music Awards for Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Best Trending Song respectively for the viral smash “Buss It.”

Cocky On Purpose rapper talked in a previous interview about the importance of seeing fellow women make a name for themselves in the rap game and what inspires her. “My enjoyment comes from the fact that there are so many of us now. Many of us are deserving of that shine at this time. I find it amazing and encouraging to see everyone coming together and collaborating, to see how they can work together as female artists. As a result, I am very attracted to this scene,” she said.
