A new video from Rome Streetz depicts him as a “Big Steppa”

Rome Streetz debuted his Griselda debut, KISS THE RING, in September, containing 17 songs as well as additional contributions from Stove God Cooks, Conway the Machine, Armani Caesar, Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn, and Boldy James. This morning, the New York City-based artist dropped a new visual from his upcoming project entitled “Big Steppa,” which was produced by Camoflauge Monk and is filled with hard-hitting bars about the streets, inequality, and more.

In the accompanying video for “Big Steppa,” Hidji Films keeps the camera primarily focused on Rome Streetz’s ring, which provides an interesting perspective on his daily routine. The viewer can observe a variety of scenarios, including an apparent gunfight and dice games taking place in hallways within a building.

As per usual, Rome Streetz follows a wealth of noteworthy projects he has been working on over the past couple of years, including Death & The Magician with DJ Muggs, Kontraband, Joyeria, Coup de Grace alongside Ransom, Genesis 1:27 alongside ANKHLEJOHN, and the long-running Noise Candy series. The emcee of “Heart On Froze” has also appeared on Ché Noir “Gold Cutlery,” Wavy Da Ghawd “1000 Volts,” Rick Hyde “Poza” and Nym Lo, Smoke DZA, and 183rd “Opp Pack.”
