On Tuesday (July 19), FKA Twigs shared her new music video, “Killer.” It is a visually stunning video that joins viewers on her journey as she examines the tumultuous waters of love and intimacy. She describes her inner thoughts in vivid detail through her lyrics, along with the images of twigs on the beach, alone in her bedroom, and out with her lover that flash across the screen:
Aside from explaining how she feels listening to “Killer,” the singer also explained how the song affects her. “I find myself more beautiful with every passing moment, wilted delicately, from shadows, in forced solitude, darkened at the edges, and achingly thirsting to be cared for again,” FKA Twigs posted on Instagram. It’s been a pleasure working with the team on the ‘Killer’ video.”
It was back in January that FKA twigs released her debut album, CAPRISONGS. This album included 17 tracks with features from artists such as Pa Salieu, The Weeknd, Shygirl, Rema, Jorja Smith, Daniel Caesar, Unknown T, and more.
