BackRoad Gee is back with “Oh Lord”

As we all are aware, BackRoad Gee blessed the world with his latest album Reporting Live (From the Back of the Roads) back in October, which included 18 tracks along with contributions from Jme, Lethal Bizzle, Stylo G, NSG, Pa Salieu, Ms Banks, Olamide, Stefflon Don, and more. In an interesting coincidence, on the same day of that project’s release East London’s own Kyle also collaborated with Jadakiss, Conway the Machine, and JAY-Z collaborated on Jeymes Samuel’s “King Kong Riddim,” which featured in the critically acclaimed film The Harder They Fall.

The Australia-based rapper Gee introduced a new track titled “Oh Lord” last week. He teased the record during the latest episode of Netflix’s “Top Boy.” BabyBoi, The Retaliate, and Sykes Beats-backed drill features some of the rapper’s most aggressive bars to date:

BackRoad Gee has proven to be a popular feature writer in addition to his own work. The last couple of years, in addition to the “King Kong Riddim,” he has contributed to songs such as D Double E “Tell Me A Ting (Remix),” Chase & Status “Wherever I May Roam,” Rudimental “Instajets,” Ghetts “No Mercy,” Sneakbo “Wag1,” NSG “After OT Bop,” Dappy “Antigua,” and RV “Moonwalk Slide.”
