“Blind” video features Lil Yachty assisting Karlae

Karlae released her first single “Blind” today (Feb. 25). She wrote and produced the track with Lil Yachty. In addition to the song, the duo has posted a dreamy and fun music video that features scenes of them playing cute high school teens who are pursuing their crushes. Karlae lets the world know she has a boss attitude on the track:

Karlae says this about the single: “[Blind] is for those who have fallen but still have the strength to rise again.” It’s a way of saying: “Yeah, I fell for you but it’s not a reason for me to give up on myself.”

Among the songs are “Jimmy Choo,” a collaboration with YSL partners Young Thug and Gunna, as well as her birthday song, “Sheesh.” She also shared the cut “I Like” featuring Coi Leray, which appears on the Slime Language 2 compilation album, which topped the Billboard Charts in 2017. A total of 23 tracks were included with appearances by Travis Scott, Drake, Rowdy Rebel, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Yung Bleu, Coi Leray, NAV, Skepta, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, and Future.

A month ago, Yachty headed to the Midwestern state of Michigan for the recording of Michigan Boy Boat, a 14-track album that features both Swae Lee, Sada Baby, Tee Grizzley, Babyface Ray, Rio da Yung OG, and more. The following month, he released the sixth installment of his Birthday Mix series, marking the occasion of his 24th trip around the Sun with DC2Trill, Lil Tecca, SoFaygo, and Draft Day.
