Busta Rhymes is back to bless the masses with a new EP today (Nov. 18), which is titled The Fuse Is Lit, following a short delay. In addition to five dope cuts, the project also has a number of guest appearances, including Conway the Machine, Big Daddy Kane, Swizz Beatz, Capella Grey, and Skillibeng, with the last of those appearing on the standout track “Bulletproof Skin.” Kosa and Rvssian produced this track, featuring one of the most aggressive verses about black people in history from him:
“Bulletproof Skin” is accompanied by an accompanying visual that was captured by Sam Lecca and Busta himself, who can be seen sitting on the sofa while a very elegant woman tends to him while doing a shave. During this time, Skillibeng rides out in a Corvette, before eventually being reunited with the CEO of the Conglomerate outside his Rolls-Royce, as he drives through the streets of the city.
In addition to what has been reported previously, Busta took to social media yesterday to announce that the release date of The Fuse Is Lit would be postponed in honor of Migos’ Takeoff. He was tragically shot and killed earlier this month in Miami.
