Once available, Soul Old Separately will follow Freddie Gibbs’ joint endeavor with The Alchemist, Alfredo, scheduled for release in 2020. A total of 10 songs were included in that project, which also featured Rick Ross, Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, and Tyler, the Creator. Gibbs’ most successful project to date, it ranked in the top 20 of the Billboard 200 thanks to sales of more than 30,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. Besides receiving critical acclaim, Alfredo was nominated for a Grammy in 2021 for Best Rap Album.
