It was announced over the weekend that BLEU collaborated with Nicki Minaj to release their latest single, “Love In The Way,” the latest preview from the band’s upcoming album. After a few days of anticipation, the duo returned to release their highly awaited music video yesterday. BLEU and Minaj appear in the new video directed by Primo surrounded by beautiful women wearing coral-colored gowns as they exchange lyrics about the difficulties of love.
It was just a year ago that BLEU released his Moon Boy project, which contained 15 tracks and collaborations with artists such as John Legend, 2 Chainz, Moneybagg Yo, Kodak Black, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Kehlani, Jeezy, Drake, Gunna, Davido, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie. As well as charting in the top 20 on the Billboard 200, the project made the top ten on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Queen – Minaj’s fourth studio LP – was released four years ago and initially included 19 songs along with collaborations with Ariana Grande, Eminem, The Weeknd, Labrinth, Swae Lee, Foxy Brown, Future, and Lil Wayne. During the past few months, she has released the highly anticipated “Super Freaky Girl” single and shortly thereafter dropped the official remix that features JT, BIA, as well as other artists.
