Effortlessly combining their rap talents, two of hip hop’s biggest names present their latest project. The rappers represent their hometowns while taking the stage in their joint single “From The D 2 The LBC,” which is produced by Snoop Dogg and Eminem to spit some of the best bars they have ever delivered:
Likewise, “From The D 2 The LBC” features a matching visual that begins with the legendary duo in the middle of a recording session, where Snoop is in charge of the boards, while Eminem is in contact with the microphone. Em has likely become accustomed to the smoke due to the volume of it. He and his West Coast counterpart begin to envision themselves animated, and gradually what they envision is becoming characters from the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
This new collaboration between Em and Snoop comes about two years after the two engaged in an odd feud. This feud was sparked by Snoop not including Detroit rapper Em in his top ten list of the greatest rappers of all time. A small back and forth later, Snoop explained to “The Breakfast Club” that he had resolved the conflict with Em by blaming “competition”.
