In his new video for “Honey Bun,” Quavo pulls off an heist

A brand-new song was released by Quavo over the weekend to celebrate his birthday (April 2), and it is called “Honey Bun.” Along with the song, the Atlanta rapper released a KeeMotion-directed music video in which he pulls off a money heist that shows what the rapper is capable of. Throughout the clip, there are several suggestions and clues that will lead you to the upcoming releases, as various song titles have been disguised as labels and notes in the bank vault in order to hint at upcoming releases. There are two instrumentals on this track, one of which is produced by Huncho, the other by AyoRay and Al Geno:

As a mark of respect for Takeoff’s remarkable life, Quavo released a solo effort called “Without You” in November last year, which was an emotional reflection on the bond between the two artists. Quavo performed a version of the song at the 65th annual Grammy Awards held earlier this year, where he delivered a powerful performance. As a follow-up to his debut single, he released another single called “Greatness.”

It was back in October 2022 that the two rappers debuted their joint debut LP, Only Built For Infinity Links, on the Quality Control Music Group / Motown Records label. With the star-studded lineup of guest appearances on the album, the project boasted performances from Birdman, Mustard, Young Thug, Gunna, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Summer Walker, and Gucci Mane over a total of 18 tracks on the album. Also included were the runaway hits “To The Bone” and “HOTEL LOBBY.”
