A new live performance of “Moonlight” by Kali Uchis.

Friday (March 3) marks the release of Kali Uchis highly anticipated Red Moon In Venus album, which includes collaborations with Don Toliver, Omar Apollo, and Summer Walker. There were several well-received singles released prior to the album release, including “I Wish You Roses” and “NO HAY LEY.” This past Monday (March 7th), the Virgina-born singer graced the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” stage to perform “Moonlight” from the newly released album for the first time. During her rendition of the song, Kali Uchis demonstrated her trademark “Spanglish” delivery as she sang the following lines:

It was announced today that Kali Uchis will also be embarking on her “Red Moon In Venus Tour” this spring in conjunction with this release. The event, produced by Live Nation, will begin on April 24 in Austin and will travel to a number of major cities, including New York, Las Vegas, Toronto, and a number of others before wrapping up its journey on May 30 in Phoenix.

There was a lot of attention paid to the “Melting” singer’s last album, the 2020 release, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) LP, which was an album of 13 songs and included guest appearances by artists like Jowell & Randy, Rico Nasty, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Jhay Cortez. Upon its release, the album climbed to the third position on the Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. In anticipation of the deluxe release of the album, she released an upgraded version of the single with a new assist from SZA on the fan-favorite single, “fue mejor”.
