According to GloRilla’s social media accounts, he released Anyways, Life’s Great…, a nine-track EP featuring Yo Gotti, Niki Pooh, Cardi B, and HitKidd. In the first week following its release, the project reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200, thanks to 28,000 album equivalents sold. Earlier today (Dec. 15), the Memphis native GloRilla, who hails from the Harlem neighborhood, shared the most recent song from The Look’s catalog, the official music video for her song, “No More Love.” The clip was directed by Diesel Filmz, and it shows Glo’s day at the stoop, sitting with a few of her friends, as she takes a moment to reflect:
GloRilla has released several other singles since the beginning of this year, including “Nut Quick,” “Big S**t,” “Sneaky Link,” and “Blessed.” In addition to her own tracks, GloRilla has also contributed verses to some of the biggest tracks in recent years, including “Just Say That” featuring Duke Deuce, “Loving U 2 Hard” with Sencere, and “Outside (Remix)” with Mon Franklins.
In addition to her voice and signature delivery, the “F.N.F.” rapper is known for her distinctive delivery. During a recent interview, she explained that she initially had reservations about embracing her natural tone, but ultimately decided to do so after receiving feedback. “My voice was soft when I first began rapping,” she explained. “As far as my voice is concerned, I tried to sound like a girl rapper. However, I found that people always preferred my rapping in my soft voice, then when I rapped in my deep voice, they would always prefer that. Therefore, I was like “I am going to rap the entire song in my deep voice.”
