The mother of incarcerated rapper YNW Melly has spoken out amid her son’s claims that he is currently fearing for his life inside Broward County Jail. In a recent intrerview, YNW Melly’s mother, Jamie Demons-King, demanded answers from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office regarding her son’s safety. “My son is terrified for his life,” she wrote in one post.
“YNW Melly has been begging me to get him out of that place.” “I’m trying everything in my power to get him transferred or released on bond but so far nothing has worked,” she continued. “If anything happens to my son I will hold the Broward County Sheriff’s Office responsible
YNW Melly is currently awaiting trial for the double murder of his friends, YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser. Jamie Demons-King said that she was “devastated” when she found out about the allegations against her son. She said that she has not been able to speak to him since he was arrested, but she has been in touch with his lawyers.
In a recent Instagram post, Melly claimed that he has been targeted by other inmates because of his celebrity status and that they have been making death threats against him. Bernard said she has reached out to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office for answers but has yet to receive any satisfactory response. She is now demanding answers from the sheriff’s office and wants to know what steps are being taken to protect her son from harm.
