Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour in Los Angeles was nothing short of a spectacle, featuring surprise guests like his daughter, Stormi Webster, and the rap sensation, Playboi Carti. The evening was filled with unforgettable performances, marking it as a highlight in the music news.
The night was ignited with the UTOPIA energy that Travis Scott is known for. Currently, Scott is on his 29-date Circus Maximus Tour, scheduled to conclude on Dec. 29 in Toronto. This L.A. tour stop, however, was a unique blend of family, friends, and music. At the SoFi Stadium, the crowd was treated to a performance of “Mafia”, with Scott bringing out his 5-year-old daughter Stormi. Despite being visibly nervous, Stormi’s appearance added a personal touch to the performance. Stormi, who Scott shares with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner, had her song debut on “Thank God,” the second track on UTOPIA.
The highlight of the evening was the surprise appearance by Playboi Carti. Joining Scott for their collaboration “FE!N”, Carti’s presence sent the sold-out crowd into a frenzy. Carti, known for his fashion sense, wore an all-black fit for the occasion. His style complemented the high-energy performance, creating a striking visual against the brightly lit stage. UTOPIA, Scott’s fourth studio album, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With 496,000 equivalent album units in its first week, it was the second rap album to reach the top spot this year, following Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape.
On Friday, Kid Cudi announced a new collaboration with Scott and Pharrell Williams titled “At the Party”. Slated to appear on Cudi’s upcoming album, Insano, this collaboration is eagerly anticipated by fans.
