On October 28th, Polo G announced the release of his brand new single, “Bag Talk.” Bag Talk follows the release of Distraction in June and serves as a preview of his highly anticipated upcoming album. A third studio album by Polo G was released in June last year, Hall of Fame. This album includes collaborations with Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, The Kid LAROI, G Herbo, Lil Wayne, Rod Wave, DaBaby, Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, and more. As a result of the achievement, he became the first artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 due to the sales of 143,000 album-equivalent units during the first week of its release.
Hall of Fame 2.0 was released just before the end of the year, adding 14 songs with help from NLE Choppa, YungLiv, Moneybagg Yo, and Lil Tjay. It has been noted that the emcee behind the hit music video “Martin & Gina” has been giving guest appearances on recent tracks such as “Headshot” recorded with Lil Tjay, and “Feline” recorded with Juice WRLD many others.
